Please note that the Association for Individualised Complementary Oncology exclusively admits those physicians as members, who agree to act in accordance with the guiding principles of the association and the duties of its members (e.g. the participation in at least two training courses per year in the area of disseminated tumour cells).

- Patient safety and welfare: reproducibility in order to avoid errors in analysis and therapy
- Building trust among colleagues: mutual recognition of work outcomes.
- Economic efficiency: indication specific measures and confidence-building in order to avoid double analyses.
Members’ Duties
- Participation in training courses (twice a year)
- Compliance with the procedural rules for the diagnosis and therapy indication
- Transmission of anamnesis, epicrisis, form of therapy and observation of development
The association promises to support its members in gaining and maintaining professional expertise in the field of individualised complementary oncology using the of the following measures:
- transfer of specialised knowledge in theory and pratice by way of continuous training in form of seminars, newsletters, website with communication facility and download library, telephone surgery
- creation of a technical infrastructure by means of standardised procedures for decision making in diagnosis and therapy; laboratories and practices with standardised dianosis and therapy procedures
- Organisational support is provided by the establishment of clearly defined means of communication, the documentation of patient data and quality management
